Meet the Owners

We're Blake and Katy Anderson, the owners of City Mercantile. Both of us have spent most of our lives in retail, and after moving on from previous business ventures, we took a leap of faith and purchased City Mercantile in 2021. Established in 2018, City Mercantile was already a special place, and we were excited for the opportunity to continue its story while making it our own.

As we got to know our customers, we quickly discovered a shared love for beautiful interiors, unique gifts, and thoughtfully curated spaces. What began with seasonal decorating and design projects naturally grew into expanded home décor offerings, interior design services, bridal registries, custom wreaths and door décor, and a carefully selected collection of gifts for every occasion.

Our strengths complement each other well — Katy has a passion for design and an eye for beautiful details, while Blake enjoys bringing ideas together and making the vision come to life. Together, we work hard to bring fresh inspiration, new products, and exceptional service to our customers year after year.
